Our Services

  • Musculoskeletal Physio

Our physiotherapists are experts in the structure and movement of the human body. We work with people of all ages to prevent, diagnose, and manage pain, movement disorders, and physical limitations. Through evidence-based treatment methods including targeted exercise programs, hands-on manual therapy and rehabilitation strategies, we help restore movement, build strength and optimise physical function.

With advanced clinical skills and a personalised approach, we’re here to support your recovery and get you back to living life at your best.

  • Dry Needling

Our physiotherapists are highly trained in dry needling, a safe and effective technique that can play an important role in your recovery. Sometimes described as “clinical” or “western” acupuncture, dry needling involves inserting a fine needle into soft tissue to release muscle tightness, reduce pain and promote healing.

While not a replacement for conventional physiotherapy or surgery, dry needling is often used alongside these treatments to accelerate pain relief, restore normal tissue function and support long-term recovery. With scientific evidence for its effectiveness continuing to grow, dry needling has become an increasingly popular treatment option for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

  • Exercise Rehabilitation

Exercise rehabilitation plays a vital role in restoring strength, mobility and overall function. By improving the way your body moves, exercise programs can reduce pain, enhance physical performance, and in some cases even lower the likelihood of requiring surgery. When surgery is necessary, a structured rehabilitation plan can significantly improve post-operative outcomes and accelerate recovery.

Our physiotherapists provide individualised exercise programs tailored to your condition and goals. We have experience supporting patients through a wide range of injuries and surgeries.

  • Workers Compensation, DVA and MVA

We welcome all Workers Compensation, Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) patients. Our priority is to help you recover safely and return to your pre-injury level of function as quickly as possible.

To make your rehabilitation seamless, we work closely with your GP, insurance provider and any other parties involved in your care. This ensures you receive coordinated, comprehensive treatment tailored to your needs.

For your first appointment, please bring a GP referral, your claim number, and any relevant paperwork to help us get started on your recovery journey.

  • Small Group Exercise Classes

Our small group exercise classes are designed to give you the benefits of physiotherapist-led training in a supportive and motivating environment. With a focus on strength, mobility, balance, and injury prevention, each program is tailored to your individual needs and goals while allowing you to enjoy the encouragement of training alongside others.

Led by our physiotherapists, these classes are ideal for those managing injuries, recovering from surgery, or simply wanting to improve overall health and fitness in a safe, supervised setting. With limited group sizes, you’ll receive close guidance and personalised feedback to ensure every movement is performed safely and effectively.

  • Sports Physiotherapy

Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a professional athlete, our physiotherapists have the expertise to help you reach your goals and return safely to sport. We specialise in identifying the root cause of your injury and creating tailored management and rehabilitation plans designed around the specific physical demands of your sport.

Injury prevention is just as important as recovery. That’s why we provide comprehensive assessments and personalised programs to reduce your risk of injury, enhance performance, and keep you at your best!

  • Second Opinion for Complex Cases

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing pain, slow progress or a diagnosis that doesn’t quite feel right, a second opinion can provide clarity and confidence. At Institute of Movement we specialise in assessing complex, persistent or difficult-to-treat musculoskeletal conditions.

We take the time to re-evaluate your symptoms, review previous scans and reports and perform a thorough hands-on assessment to ensure nothing has been overlooked.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, unsure about your current diagnosis or just want another expert perspective, we’re here to help you move forward with certainty and support.
